Veganic to go
an organic, plant-based vegan, macrobiotic restaurant
「Veganic to go」is a small vegan restaurant in Roppongi (Tokyo) which serves
mostly burgers, but also bowls, pizza and desserts like cookies, scones and cakes.
According to their menu, it started from a vegan family who wanted to share their lifestyle with both fellow vegans and non-vegans as well.
The owner Hiroco Igarashi is a Macrobiotic teacher, Aromatherapy Instructor and fuses vegan food in a macrobiotic way.
Everything in the restaurant is 100% plant-based, 60-95% organic and free from GMO, MSG, refined sugar, trans-fats, artificial flavores, artificial sweeteners etc., which makes it the perfect place for health-conscious people. Also the bread for their burgers is made from brown rice which makes them gluten-free and gives a really cool black color.
The store is very small, so you migh have to wait until you can take a seat. But it is also possible to take your food to go.
I personally tried the terriyaki chicken burger which was really delicious and my friend had their fish burger.
I also got their chocolate chip scone for dessert and I can't recommend it enough. It was just sooo good! I'm excited to try some more of their desserts.
The burger prices are between 1500 and 1800 yen which is not cheap, but in my opinion a fair price for the quality they offer.
I would definitely go again and try some other food they offer!
