This is a super simple and quick recipe for delicious vegan onigiri!
INGREDIENTS
(for 3-4 onigiri)
2 cups brown rice cooked with 16 grains (or just brown rice)
1 tablespoon extra virgin sesame oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons white sesame seeds
2 tablespoons of red perilla leaf powder
6 perilla leafs
METHOD
Cut the perilla leaves into small pieces.
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix them.
Take a piece of cling film, place some of the mix in the middle and mold it into a rice bowl with your hands using the cling film.
Repeat the process until you have 3-4 onigiri, depending on how large you want them to be.
